Spin-off events 2010

As part of the festival's drive to promote the best the region has to offer there will be variety of spin-off events in 2010 and for the future.

 

Share the 'Recipe for success' at the Tithe Barn, Abergavenny – it's a mouthwatering menu!

The Tite barn, AbergavennyAbergavenny's lovely Tithe Barn will be hosting the last demonstration / workshop in second series of 'Recipe for Success' events, celebrating the passion and creativity of Monmouthshire's local producers, chefs and restaurants.

The last session of this series takes place on Wednesday 24th March.  Iain Sampson, Head Chef at Peterstone Court will be demonstrating a recipe using chicken from the home farm, accompanied by Martin Buck, farmer.  Richard Eklof from Wigmore's Bakery in Monmouth will be talking about the variety of breads they produce, accompanied by preserves from Avril's Country Kitchen, honey from Skirrid Honey Farm and Blaenafon Cheddar.

Time: 7.30-9.30pm. Admission is just £4.

If you're into your food then don't miss this chance to see the brightest and best in action. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet the producers, sample products, and make purchases too.

Recipe for Success' has been programmed by Freddy Edmunds. A spin-off from the Abergavenny Food Festival, these events are also sponsored by adventa and a CEDS award from Monmouthshire County Council.
