Fringe Cider Dinner
The Clytha Arms hosts the annual Welsh Perry and Cider Festival, and has been awarded the title of Pub of the Year four times (local and regional) by the Campaign for Real Ale. Mouthwatering menu as follows (be sure to book early):
Cider consommé with goat cheese dumplings or pork & apple faggots with shallot & cider gravy; callops with leeks, perry & cream or Camarthen ham with beetroot roularde & cider cream; roast duck with fried apples & cider brandy or fillet of sole with pears in perry or buckwheat & cider pancake with wild mushrooms & black-eyed peas; Calvados ice-cream with apple fritters; Welsh cheese selection. And to top it all off a half of Monmouthshire cider or perry will be served with each course. Coffee or tea served in the Cricketers Room.
