A morning workshop of cookery exploring the wealth of delicious ingredients and recipes from our fruitful county. It's hands-on all the way. Enjoy a busy morning with like minded people culminating in a leisurely lunch sampling the dishes covered. A portfolio of recipes is provided to take home.

Two-day introduction to Permaculture

If you're interested in good food from sustainable food and farming systems, in living and working in healthy, vibrant communities, and want to know more about how you can make practical changes in your own life, then this two day introduction to permaculture could be for you. Simple camping (compost loos/solar showers) is £6.00 pp per night and can be booked for the duration of the Festival. Lifts into the Festival can also be arranged.

Introduction to butchery

Enjoy a fun hands-on introduction to butchery at our family-run butcher shop in Abergavenny. A maximum of 4 people on this course ensures you'll learn the skills, techniques and safe practices required when working with meat. You even get to take home your handy-work for tea!
