Adele Nozedar: One Thousand Footsteps Forage
Adele Nozedar of Brecon Beacons Foraging led a forage based on her ‘One Thousand Footsteps’ menu, using ingredients, both wild and cultivated, from within a mile of her front door. The One Thousand Footsteps concept is not just about food, but an approach to living which continually challenges your resourcefulness.
Henry Ashby: Seashore Forage
Master forager, Henry Ashby took us foraging around the nearby salt marches to discover natural delicacies such as sea spinach, scurvy grass, sea asters, orache samphire and sea plantains. This was an intimate guide with plenty of opportunity to learn about foraging and ask questions.
Henry Ashby is a forager, with over 50 years coastal, meadow and forest foraging and an expertise on wild vegetables herbs and leaves as well as most edible fungi. He is a forager for The Whitebrook and Celt Experience Brewery.
