They first met when Angela was Neil’s boss at the Connaught, one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. Neil’s career took him to some top places in France while Angela struck out on her own bringing a Michelin-star to her restaurant Murano. On Neil’s return to the UK they became partners and business partners, together opening The Merchant Tavern with Neil as Head chef. Today in between multiple media commitments Angela heads up Murano and its three sibling Café Muranos while Neil runs the kitchen at Soho’s legendary French House.
