Bab Haus Mex – Leyli Homayoonfar

With sites in Caerphilly, Barry Goodsheds, and now Newport Market, Leyli’s mission to cook the best Mexican Street Food in South Wales is taking off fast. But Mexican is not the only string to her bow. She learnt Persian cooking in her Welsh Iranian home. Before starting her own business, she had 17 years in top restaurant kitchens such as Chez Bruce, Jamie Oliver’s 15 and Bar 44 , picking up Spanish and Italian cooking along the way. This rising star was named in CODE’s 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality 2022.
