Dr BBQ – Ray Lampe

Former trucker, Ray ‘ Dr BBQ’  Lampe is one of the most famous pitmasters in the US.  He’s cooked in over 300 contests, written seven cookbooks and  been a judge on US Food Network programs such as Chopped, American Grilled, and Tailgate Warriors. In 2014 he was inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame. It was around this time that he met and mentored Sam and Shauna, our very own South Wales barbecue stars, on their formative road -trip to learn about BBQ Southern-style.
