Jay Rayner describes Jeremy as ‘one of those rare phenomena in the London food world, a chap everyone agrees is a good thing’. It is perhaps surprising that a chef with a pedigree like Jeremy’s should have waited so long to write his first cookbook. But when he did, it was a stunner. Cooking Simply and Well For One and Many captures the man perfectly: generous and ebullient; full of helpful tips and fascinating anecdotes. And it is the Andre Simon Food Book of the Year 2023.
