The Scottish legend and the Abergavenny Festival favourite cross cleavers as we reprise the format that launched Nick’s TV career back in 1995. Today Nick runs Nick’s Restaurant and the internationally acclaimed Nick Nairn Cook School, both on the shores of Lake Monteith near where he grew up. Cyrus is the chef-patron at Café Spice Namaste, the restaurant he opened in 1995, where he was one of the pioneers of modern Indian cooking in London. He has been at every Aber Food Festival, maybe bar one, and has proved himself very adaptable. It will be a close-run thing. Kate Jenkins, founder of Gower Cottage Brownies, is there to host and see fair play.
