Andi and Melissa talk food, heritage and identity and the particular forces which have shaped and continue to shape Caribbean cooking as captured in Andi’s eagerly awaited new cookbook, The Pepperpot Diaries. Andi is well-known on TV as host of Great British Menu, and for her appearances on shows such as C4’s Food Unwrapped, and BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. Her travels with her daughter in Antigua were featured in the BBC2 series The Caribbean with Andi and Miquita. Melissa is the author of Motherland: A Jamaican Cookbook.
