Abergavenny is generally a very accessible town and the festival takes place right at the centre.
The best place to park if you would like to be closer to the Market Hall, Upper and Lower Brewery Yard is Fairfield Car Park and Bailey Park Car Park. Please note that Bailey Park Car Park isn’t concrete but does have a concrete path around the perimeter. Castle Meadows Car Park may not be suitable as it is a meadow, the terrain is uneven and there is a small slope to reach the main festival site. For Abergavenny Shopmobility, please call 0800 298 3656 or email email@example.com.
There will be a road closure in place up to St Johns Square, however this will be manned by a steward over the weekend. Anyone with a blue badge will be allowed through the road closure and guided by our steward to a special allocation of disabled parking, which has been saved directly next to Shopmobility.
All of our main market venues are fully accessible to wheelchair users and mobility scooters. Please be aware that there are some uneven surfaces and that it can become crowded at times. For additional ticketed events, unfortunately the Corn Exchange and Drinks’ Theatre are not accessible for wheelchair users.
Please get in touch for more information about tickets for carers.
