Fish and Fire
Imagine you are camping in England, the sun is shining and you fancy cooking some fish, but are not sure how to cook it outdoors. Trish MacCurrach has 10 years’ experience under her belt, managing food and fire in a wide range of locations from the top of hills to wide open estuaries.
She will start by cooking some simple salmon steaks and fresh vegetables on the grill, followed by home-made fishcakes with a spicy sauce in the paella pan. Finally, in case the weather isn’t playing ball, she’ll cook up some comfort food in the form of her own version of Cullen skink, a fish soup with smoked haddock and vegetables in a creamy sauce, served with chunky bread.
