A rare chance to explore wild estuary foods of the Severn and Wye with experienced forager Henry Ashby. Henry, who has 50 years’ experience of foraging, supplies top local restaurants such as The Whitebrook. Henry was also in a recent BBC TV series Border Lives. Expect to find sea spinach, samphire, sea blights, sea asters, scurvy grass, sea arrow grass and orache.
Assemble at Abergavenny’s main bus station (opposite ALDI) at 13:45 where you will be taken by minibus to the start of the tour. Please bring good outdoor clothes and shoes or boots.
