Uprooted, Overlooked, Ignored
Did you know that two thirds of people who are forced from home are still in their own country? The Uprooted exhibition raises awareness of the more than 40 million people uprooted by conflict or natural disaster, unwilling or unable to cross a border. They are largely ignored by the international community and denied official protection afforded to refugees. If we knew their names, it would take us well over a year to read them aloud.
Through a series of powerful images and individual accounts, you will learn more about the global crisis of displacement and how you can speak up for all people on the move. The exhibition will be running from 12th – 19th September 2018.
