Anna Sutton is Head of the Learning Development Centre at Rougemont School, Newport and is a Specialist teacher and assessor; visiting lecturer on the MA SEN course at University of South Wales and Associated Member of the British Dyslexia Association. Her spare time is spent taking an active role in the family business and farming events and she is a volunteer with the Abergavenny Food Festival Makers. She was educated at St. David’s Convent School, Brecon and is a creative arts practitioner with specialisms in Drama and English.
Anna Sutton will be talking at the Farmyard about modern farming, machinery, engineering and technology used locally to produce the food we consume. Followed by an opportunity to look inside the tractor cab and ask the demonstrator how the technology works and how farmers are already using state of the art tractors and software. Includes a trailer display associated with The Gathering of the Greens – a group of John Deere Tractor Enthusiasts featuring designs by Young Deere Engineers as well as information about Parc Grace Dieu Farm, The Hendre owned by Frank Sutton and family. Information about the Grace Dieu Herd of cattle featuring British Longhorn Cattle, Rare Breed White Park Cattle and North American Bison. Visits throughout the festival featuring conversations with Frank Sutton on the trailer.
