Christine Smallwood

Christine Smallwood is a food and travel writer and author of a series of books on the food in three Italian regions: An Appetite for Umbria was followed by titles on Lombardy, and Puglia (for which she was awarded the Crest of Puglia by the President of the region).

She has worked as a consultant for organisations such as the Culinary Institute of America, the Consorzio di Franciacorta and Taste Local Wales and has enthusiastically participated in the Abergavenny Food Festival since 2007.
