Claire Thomson is a chef and food writer. She has written about food for publications including The Guardian, The Telegraph, BBC Good Food Magazine and Countryfile Magazine. Claire has appeared on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
She lives in Bristol with her husband and three children. Her previous books include The 5 O’clock Apron and The Art of the Larder. New Kitchen Basics is her fourth book, focusing on 10 essential ingredients from which she has created over 120 recipes.
