For this special Festival recording of BBC Radio 4’s Inside Science, the fire pit is our science lab. Marnie Chesterton and guests bring a sprinkling of chemistry and just a squeeze of physics as we invite you to explore the science of cooking over fire. And we delve back in time to ask what BBQ can tell us about human evolution.
