What it’s about:
The coming together of tax hikes and the spiralling costs of energy, labour and raw materials has put many businesses in the hospitality sector onto life-support. The Abergavenny Food Festival brings together people from all across the food sector; growers, manufacturers, suppliers, cooks, restaurateurs and food writers.
We are convening a special event to talk about what can be done. Chair: Sheila Dillon – Broadcaster, Presenter of BBC 4 ‘The Food Programme’.

Come and join us! We will be in the Rehoboth Centre at the end of the day on Saturday. All welcome. Free entry.
Panel:
Owen Morgan – Co-founder of the Bar 44 Restaurant Group in South Wales and Bristol
Sam Evans – Chef and co-proprietor of Hangfire BBQ
Oliver Woolnough – Founder of Meat Matters, Gower-based butcher and restaurant supplier
Tim Hayward – Food writer, broadcaster and restaurateur
