Chefs Wanted! – Allegra McEvedy

Allegra McEvedy MBE has been cooking professionally for over 30 years, working both in London and USA. She co-founded LEON, the fast-food restaurant chain, has run a 1,000 cover restaurant at Wimbledon for the last 10 years and is a proud patron of the Fairtrade Foundation. More recently she has turned her attention to teaching children to cook. She has been a judge on Junior Bake-Off, a regular guest chef on C4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch and with Fred Sireix co-hosted Step Up to the Plate on CBBC.  Her new book Chef’s Wanted: More Than 40 Delicious Recipes for Curious Cooks is her ninth cookbook.
