Join Danielle Phillps (the Gaff), Lucy Alford (Dell Vineyard), and Jess Fletcher (Bean and Bread), the owners of three Abergavenny food businesses, for a peek behind their menus.
The prices of our favourite drinks, snacks, and dishes each tell a story of multiple business decisions, with traders constantly balancing the bottom line against food quality choices and social and environmental considerations. But it’s a story we rarely get to hear. Meanwhile, customer’s pockets are also being squeezed, making us more careful than ever with our spending.
Find out more about the choices, challenges and compromises our favourite food traders have to make, and what could be done to help them secure a viable future.
Chaired by Abergavenny based placemaking consultant, Chris Jones.
