Since co-founding LEON, the award- winning fast food restaurants, Allegra has turned her attention to kids food: she teaches weekly in her daughter’s school, has presented multiple shows on CBBC and writes recipes that go into over 2,000 state schools. Allegra has poured all of her knowledge of what 7-13 year olds really want to cook and eat into Chef’s Wanted – a cookbook for children with a winning combination of international recipes, familiar ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions. ‘Every recipe is sensational’ says Dr Chris (Operation Ouch!).
